And he took the damsel by the hand, and said unto her, Talitha cumi;

which is, being interpreted, Damsel, I say unto thee, arise.

And straightway the damsel arose, and walked. Mark 5:41-42.

God is using His daughters in very strategic and purposeful ways as we approach this "day of the Lord".  Women are being unleashed as a terror against the enemy and we are walking in authority as we were designed to do.  We too are receiving fresh rain from heaven.

Joel 2:28-29 says it best, "And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions:  And also upon the servants and upon the handmaids in those days will I pour out my spirit,".

When the Lord impressed me to write this book, Talitha cumi, I knew from the start that I wanted to incorporate the stories and strategies of women with testimonies of success in Christ. They would share with you some of their failures, triumphs, heartbreak and testimonies and how God brought them through every situation.  As this book is for "all women" it had to be representative of a large population of women.  It had to share stories that "many" women could relate to. 

Our mission has been accomplished in that the 11 women that you will hear from; Dr. Rita Johnson, Brenda Moore, Dr. Kenya Ayers, Linda Jones, Apostle Anya Hall, Andrea Amere Dudley, Dr. Ann Johnson, Bessie Gray, Attorney Linda Fegins, Sima Ballinger and Apostle Renee Smith, have different stories, testimonies of faith, miracles and astonishing moves of God in their lives. Each of the authors brings a unique perspective of viewing challenges and obstacles that they have faced.  These women are college professors, pastors, speakers, entrepreneurs, apostles, mothers, teachers and leaders in the Body of Christ who specialize in ministering to the needs of God's people. 

As you prepare to read Talitha cumi, ask the Holy Spirit to open your spiritual eyes that you might glean all of the precious nuggets that are awaiting you.
